La forma Zero Conditional è la forma condizionale inglese (frase ipotetica di tipo 0) che descrive le conseguenze che si verificano ogni volta che la condizione risulta vera. In altre parole se la condizione introdotta dalla frase ipotetica (if-clause) si realizza allora si realizza anche l’azione descritta nella frase principale (main clause).
Whenever water reaches 100° it boils.
Ogni volta che l’acqua raggiunge i 100 gradi bolle.
If water reaches 100° it boils.
Se l’acqua raggiunge i 100 gradi bolle.
If I eat fish, I get sick.
Se mangio pesce sto male.
